The graphite core of the Blackwing Pearlescent is tougher than that of the Blackwing Matte, but it is smoother and softer than that of the 602. A favourite tool among illustrators and calligraphers, it has an iridescent pink finish and the distinctive silver Blackwing square ferrule.
