They offer a rich matte finish with little to no light reflection, preventing details from being washed out. Like other Faber-Castell pencils, they are break-resistant, lightfast, and coated with an environmentally friendly varnish. Available in 8 degrees of hardness: HB (lightest), 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, 10B, 12B, and 14B (darkest).
